I decided to take advantage of the Thaipussam public holiday in Selangor to make a trip down to Melaka. Been postponing the trip for too long, and since MakTeh was around I thought it'd be nice to driver her down as well for some good sightseeing and makan-makan.
So.. finally.. two years after my actual graduation, I finally have my degree in my hands hahahaha. I skipped my convocation day, so my certificates and whatnots have been sitting in the file storeroom of MMU Melaka Exam Unit gathering dust. When I went to the counter and told them I wanted to collect my degree the lady asked me for my graduation year. I told her "saye habis tahun 2004", and she did a double take. "Dua ribu empat? Tahun dua ribu empat??". And I answered, "Ha'ah... saje je saye amik lambat2, biar saya yang last. Mesti senang nak carik..." and then dengan banggenye added, "ID saye dah lunyai, but saye masih hafal ID number saye. Akak nak?" 
After settling everything off at MMU, I bade my final goodbye and we drove into the city. Had lunch of asam pedas before going to the Mahkota Parade area. Jalan-jalan around Jonker Walk, etc... had yummy cendol tepi sungai (where the colour of the river is the same as the colour of the cendol. Tu yang buat sedap tuh  ).
I dropped by Inverno and the Uncle remembered me! Hehe I was touched that he remembered. Anyway, we begged Take That posters off him and he gave us a bunch  MakTeh and Weird bought CDs too... it's cheap there. Inverno continues to rock my socks!
Before driving back to Shah Alam I made sure we stopped for the superb 'kuey teow babiey' that I was craving for for aaaaaaaaaaaages already. The stall wasn't open yet when we reached there, we all sanggup hang around at the dataran near the Melaka Zoo tau just to wait until the stall opened and we went back to Jiki's again hahaha.
A very very happy and fulfilling day indeed!

'Behind the scenes' pictures taken during Izhar's wedding kenduri at our house, but totally unrelated to the bride and groom! Haha! Instead, these are of:
- Weird and I getting our hair done in the morning, by our very own personal *ahem* hairstylist Hafiz!
- All of us cramping and hanging out in the comforts of my room before and after the kenduri
- And lastly, of the 'post-party'... a gathering of Izhar's and my friends at midnight to watch the Arsenal vs Man Utd match (which saw Christian -the silly Man Utd fan- losing RM10 to Hairie -the much more wiser Arsenal supporter- on a bet )
A great end to a great day indeed!

Continuation of the wedding piccies! Best day of them all... kenduri held at our house It was such a looong day and close to 2000 people came and it was tiring, but nevertheless such a wonderful, memorable day!

I continued working on decorating some baskets to be used for our kenduri the next day, after returning home from the reception at Concorde. As I was about to finish one of my last baskets, Tobek came sauntering over and decided to appreciate my work by plopping himself into it!
Tobek nak jadi bunga telur ke? Or hantaran? Sian dia... guess he wanted to be a part of the wedding too!

Our home was filled with family members on Saturday morning, everyone gathering to help out with the wedding preparations and rehearsal for the ceremony at our house on Sunday.
Then at around 4pm I rushed to Jules' house for her engagement ceremony (err... was I supposed to keep this a secret? I hope not... heheh), before rushing back to Shah Alam again to get ready for the wedding reception on Farah's side! It was raining heavily and continuously but thankfully it didn't delay my getting to all these important ceremonies on time.
