I had two tickets to the F1 race (courtesy of MakNgah). Initially I was contemplating on whether or not to go (I'm not a big race fan!). I mentioned having the tickets to Hairie, and what with fast cars flowing in his veins instead of blood, he was all excited about going!
We'd planned to have Hairie pick me up at 10.30am that morning, but I overslept hahaha. He called to say he's almost at my house, and only then I woke up. Dashed into the shower before running down to face an unamused and non-pleased Hairie. Lalala.
There was a bit of a slow crawl heading towards the racing circuit, but we managed to get there just in time anyways. Sat at the K1 stands, which was the first corner after the starting grid, so it was a good view. I actually brought a book along 'cuz I figured if I got bored I'd just read and let Hairie watch the race. He was nagging at me about the book and he felt soooo insulted that I could've even expected the race to be boring  Anyway, surprisingly enough I didn't read the book throughout the race... and found it quite interesting actually! I guess it's all owed to the fact that Hairie was commentating on the race and giving me lots of trivia, so I was kept focused haha. I asked a lot of stupid bimbo questions, I hope it was noisy enough that the people around us didn't hear them and pity Hairie for having to answer

Earth, Wind & Fire live in KL!

Nina and I freaked out from the day we heard the news that Earth Wind & Fire will be performing live in KL. We were bummed however to find out that it was going to be exclusive for the F1 Gala dinner... BUT.. jeng jeng jeng.. Nina's dad helped get us tickets (terima kasih AyahJo! Hehehe) so we were psyched 
Weird, Shy and Sham came along too, somewhat at the last minute, 'cuz Sham got tickets as well. It was a great night! Can't believe we watched EWF live man! Haha... they're so ol'skool I never expected to get the chance. But there they were! Energetic as ever on stage... we were jumping around cucuk-bulan and whatnots off stage... it was a blast.
It was also funny watching our King and Queen sit on their thrones, watching the concert. Don't they get the urge to just get up and boogie wonderland?

Our career booth

Went on another one of the 'Shell campus ambassador' duties at our company booth during a Career Fair, held at MMU Cyberjaya (my alma mater). Shahrin came with me, and we helped the Attraction & Recruitment team man the booth. Bumped into a lot of old familiar faces, staff and students alike, back from when I was studying in MMU.
I gotta say, the Shell booth gets more and more canggih every career fair I attend and help out at. Sooner or later I won't be surprised if they even include a petrol pump at the booth

Mama (Lia's mom) invited us to a kenduri at her house, held as a kesyukuran over Ira's excellent exam results. We all went, thinking that it was going to be a small 'do' with the usual yummy spread of food that Lia's household is known for... but we were surprised to find that tents had been erected outside for the event, complete with caterers and all! Tekejuttt kitorang.. macam ade orang nak bertunang!
So Lia, here are the pics of us at your house that night. Rindu Lia! Balik cepat plissssssss....
(oh and by the way, kitorang dengan tak malunye tanye Mama, "takde jelly Milo yang sedap tu ke?", and we were only joking, but Mama cakap ade!! Uih terus happy kitorang... Dona tak sabar2 hulur tangan when Mama went inside and came back with a plate of the jelly )

My birthday is on March 10th, and I'm surrounded by close friends whose birthday also falls in March, so I decided to throw an uber-fun BBQ party for all March babies at the end of the month
March Birthday Babies:
2nd - Baba (but he was in New Zealand and Australia with Mummy during my party)
3rd - Kelly
4th - Zairi and Shy
6th - Christian
9th - Jeremy (but he wasn't at the party lah)
10th - ME!! 
11th - Weird
12th - Cipau (and PakSu, but he's my uncle so wasn't invited to party hahaha)
15th - Lavinia
17th - Shahrin
18th - Dona (and my Grandma who of course wasn't at the party )
19th - Kysern
22nd - Lillian (she didn't come either 'cuz she was working on shift)
28th - Gie (pun tak datang... rugi!)
30th - Malini (another missing one.. heheh.. I think she was off partying somewhere else on her own!)
Ok, even though I was the host of the party and I don't mean to puji diri sendiri or whatever, but the party was such a blast!! Like, 60 people turned up kot, I lost count... gile ramai... and then we had like, different sections of the house for different things hehe. There were the chillout and chat areas at the front garden and back porch... there was the living room for silly boogy-ing.. the formal living room was for fun game-playing... the front porch was the eating area... so everyone was everywhere doing all sorts of fun stuff. It was so cool! I really enjoyed myself that night, especially getting to catch up with all my mates. Without them there the party wouldn't have been the same! I LOVE YOU GUYS!! Thanks for coming  (not forgetting for all the pressies too teehee). Also not forgetting Izhar, Pia, Shahrin and all who helped with the barbecue and getting things arranged and in order, as well as all the others who brought more food and drinks
We started the party at 5pm, and people slowly trickled away at around 1 or 2am... with the last of my guests leaving at 2pm the next day. Haha. I was such a kind host, I made breakfast for them. Ahem. (Mane taknye... I was crashed out on the sofa, too tired to climb up to my room after dozing off whilst chit-chatting... when suddenly I was frightened awake by Munir shouting in my face "FIZZYYYY! WAKE UP I'M HUNGRYYY!!!" at about 9am ).

Another installment of our yearly evening of music and dance at work! Jointly organized by our Music Club and Dance Club, we had performances by several bands (mine included) and dance performances, from hip hop to rock'n'roll to rueda! Lots of fun... who said IT professionals are techy geeks eh?
Pics are a jumbled collection from mine and Martin's cameras, so they're a bit unorganized 'cuz I just combined them together heheh. Too lazy to sort out chronologically

PayDay and Bonus dinner celebration @ 7ateNine, Ascott KL

Friday Pay Day was the day before, and a bunch of my pals from work decided to have a nice big dinner to celebrate our bonuses. We went to 7ateNine and Lavinia made us come in a 70's retro getup 
Food there was nice, and I thought my waiter looked like a local version of Michael Scofield . I think I freaked him out over my squeeing.
After the dinner, Hairie called to say he was at Zouk with Florence and Shakri, so I went over to join them to boogie the rest of the night away.

Another one of my classmates from high school got married! Hehe.. congratulations Dina! The reception was held at Concorde Hotel, Shah Alam. To make the world even smaller, Noel (who was our high school senior) is Farah's cousin! So now, Dina is like, my in-law-cousin-in-law! (since Izhar is married to Farah, and Farah is Noel's cousin, and Dina's married to Noel). Hahaha.
I can't wait to see little Dinas and Noels running around singing German nursery rhymes haha
